HUTECH worked with Korea Foundation (KF)

On April 16, 2024, Ho Chi MInh City University of Technology (HUTECH) had a meeting with Korea Foundation - KF in Hanoi, aiming to develop collaboration plans between both parties.
Korea Foundation (KF) is an international exchange agency of South Korea in order to support people-to-people diplomacy activities to promote Korea's image worldwide and expand friendly cooperation. Since its establishment in 1991, KF has made concerted efforts to enhance the world's understanding of South Korea through diverse activities such as sponsoring Korean studies programs at educational institutions, developing international cooperation networks, exchanging culture and arts, and promoting communication works. Over the years, Korea Foundation has continuously strived to well-accomplish their mission in connecting people to people and South Korea to the world.
Attending the visiting trip were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam - Vice Chairman of HUTECH, Dr. Bui Phan Anh Thu - Dean of the Faculty of Korean Studies, and Ms. Khuong Thi Thanh - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Korean Studies. Representatives of Korea Foundation included Mr. Choi Jae Jin - Director of the Korean Foundation Representative Office in Hanoi and Ms. Ha Huong Thao - Assistant Director.

During the discussion, KF representatives shared their achievements in promoting cultural and educational cooperation between Korea and HUTECH, resulting in more learning and experiencing opportunities for students. In addition, KF also funded teaching textbooks and cultural publications, contributing greatly to the enhancement of teaching and learning quality for both lecturers and students of the Faculty of Korean Studies.
One of the outstanding accomplishments is the sponsorship of Korean Character Festival 2023 that plays a crucial role in Korean image, language, and culture communication to HUTECH students. Furthermore, Korea Foundation along with HUTECH implement E-learning classrooms, assisting students in the easier access to new knowledge from Korea.
