As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen international engagement and foster student connections across the region, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) welcomed a delegation from the Lyceum Supreme Student Council (LSSC) of Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas (Philippines) on June 12.
Representing LPU Batangas at the meeting were Atty. Reynold S. Beredo, Director of Student Affairs and Adviser to the Lyceum Supreme Student Council (LSSC), along with eight student representatives from the University's student council
During the meeting, HUTECH introduced the delegation to the University's development journey, highlighting its achievements in education, research, and internationalization. Representatives also shared insights into HUTECH's student support system, Student Union and Youth Union activities, skills development initiatives, student well-being programs, and efforts to create a dynamic and well-rounded learning environment.

Through open discussions, representatives from both institutions exchanged views on the important role student organizations play in creating an engaging and experience rich learning environment that encourages initiative, leadership, and responsibility among students. Drawing from their respective experiences in student affairs, HUTECH and LPU Batangas found many commonalities in their educational philosophies, particularly their shared commitment to nurturing a generation of students who are proactive, capable leaders, socially responsible, and ready to thrive in a globalized world.

The LSSC delegation also expressed their admiration for HUTECH's vibrant student life. These activities are expected to serve as valuable bridges that promote educational values, intercultural understanding, and a spirit of sustainable development among students across the region.
