Two designs of HUTECH are finalists in Hoa Mai Design Contest 2009

Two designs by students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) are honored to be among the finalists at Hoa Mai Contest. The annual interior design contest, which is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Handicrafts and Wood Working, highlights the use of wood-based materials and decorations.

From 30 excellent designs out of more than 200 entries, the jury will select the eight best works to be awarded and displayed at an exhibition held at the end of March 2010 at the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Handicrafts and Wood Working.

Particularly, two design projects by HUTECH students are among the finalists in this year’s contest, including “Couple” by Phan Van Do (Class 06DNT3) and “TYPOMINAL” by Nguyen Phuc Thuy Vy and Pham Trung Duy Vu who are students of the Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts.
