HUTECH Faculty of Japanese Studies worked with the Committee Office of Izumisano City (Japan)

On March 19, 2024, the Faculty of Japanese Studies of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held further discussions with the Committee Office of Izumisano City regarding internship exchange programs in Tourism.
Representatives of the Committee Office included Mr. Akasaka Hideki - Chief of the Office of the Izumisano City Council (Osaka) and Mr. Minami Hiroya - Director of Terakoya Company. For HUTECH, there were Ms. Ho To Lien - Dean of Faculty of Japanese Studies and other lecturers.

Both parties implemented Japanese internship programs for students with the combination of internships and the acquisition of job skills in Tourism in Izumisano (Osaka). Currently, the Faculty of Japanese Studies is executing outbound and inbound student exchange programs, which is to send the Faculty’s students to Japan and receive Japanese students to the Faculty for their internships. In particular, the Faculty was receiving students of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU).

The meeting ended up by offering learning and working opportunities in Japan
Mr. Akasada Hideki shared his aspiration to partner with and introduce some training programs of Izumisano City with the Faculty of Japanese Studies for the mutual benefit of all. This initiative already had the favorable support of the Economic Bureau of Kansai and the Committee of Izumisano City, thus creating positive conditions for the long-term sustainable cooperation as well as more job opportunities in Japan for students in the field of Tourism.
