In the morning of August 19th, 2019, students from Vietnam - Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT) of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) and Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT) in Japan jointly participated in the course titled “The Sustainable Development Goals of United Nations in 2019”. The opening ceremony of the course took place at the main campus of HUTECH.
The event was honored to welcome representatives from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung, Vice Director of VJIT, Mr. Le Thien Huy, Vice Director of VJIT, Ms. Dinh Hai Yen, Vice Director of Institute of International Education, along with many students from the two universities.

To have an overview and understanding of the two countries, Vietnam and Japan, students would have 7 days learning and exchanging about their cultures and societies. The course was also a huge opportunity for those who want to enhance their knowledge about social issues, developing foreign language capability and soft skills through extracurricular activities.

This activity would deeply promote the relationship between HUTECH and KIT. Students from the two universities have more opportunities to participate, study, do research, and experience professional and international learning environment.
