HUTECH organizes Workshop about raising awareness on intellectual property rights

On 7th December 2019, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized a seminar to raise the awareness on intellectual property issues, with the participation of experienced experts, including: Mr. Nguyen Thai Cuong - Lecturer of Intellectual Property Law at Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, also a member of the Medical Ethics Council of Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City, and Mr. Fox Harter – Chief Attorney at Harter Ltd USA.

In recent years, intellectual property rights have been a growing consideration in the society; however, people are still not fully aware of them, especially in scientific research and entrepreneurial fields. Therefore, the workshop is expected to help students raise their awareness of intellectual property rights, not only in their studies and life but also in protecting their own creative achievements.

Through valuable sharing and answers from the speakers about practical issues such as: issues related to intellectual property rights, how to deal with infringement violations of scientific research achievement, laws to defend the victims, etc., HUTECH students attending the workshop have accumulated a lot of useful experiences and up-to-date knowledge regarding intellectual property rights.
