The dramatic final round of the 2018 off - road racing tournament “Racing HUTECH”

After several dramatic races, the 2018 off - road racing competition "Racing HUTECH" organized by the Institute of Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) announced the winners of the competition’s top prizes.
“Racing HUTECH” is a contest open for all HUTECH students who are passionate about technology, especially students in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control and Automation program, etc.

The contest requires speed. It demands teams have good control and coordination skills at each stage to reach the finish line in the shortest time.

The teams entering this year’s competition are on par with one another in terms of their technical design knowledge. Besides knowing how to fabricate the vehicle frame, these students are capable of applying center differential in the distribution of engine power. Some teams also stand out for their use of stainless steel materials and the design of the body frame to allow for higher ground clearance.

Competition mindset and coordination skills among team members are also crucial factors.
After a period of "speed competition", the outstanding Seven RC team crossed the finish line first in a convincing victory and winning of the Championship. The other two positions respectively belonged to the TCK team and the Fast & Furious team. In addition, the judges also presented the Design Award to Team Speed for their innovative and practical vehicle design.
