On October 23, more than 20 unique and diverse sets of fashion accessories designed by the 2016 cohort of HUTECH students majoring in Textile and Garment Technology were impressively put on display as part of their course’s project report.

With the theme “Sculpture For The Body,” the jewelry collection of the 16DCMA1 Class was inspired by the different cultures around the world highlighting the interaction between the human body and jewelry. Utilizing black and white as the main color scheme, an enhanced sense of elegance and charm of the wearers are accentuated by these jewelry designs of the Faculty of Architecture and Arts students.

With the boundless creativity, the students of the 16DCMA1 class have made full use of familiar materials from everyday life, such as fabrics, reflective metal, zippers, glasses, buttons, etc. and transform them into unique, delicate, and luxurious accessories such as bracelets, anklets, necklaces, belts, hairpins, etc.

Not only that, the jewelry collection of Textile and Garment Technology students also demonstrates a high level of practicality. Particularly, these pieces can be used in combination with many different outfits and go with different styles from romantic and feminine to dynamic and edgy that are suitable for a wide range of purposes.

Through the process of performing their course project, Textile and Garment Technology students have had the opportunity to gain practical experience and have a better grasp of their future career orientation on their path to become successful designers for well-known high-end jewelry brands.
