Freshmen majoring in Psychology gain practical experience in Human Resources Psychology and Psychotherapy

The first-year students of Psychology of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) participated in a field visit to CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company (Dong Nai) and Psychiatric Hospital (Ba Ria - Vung Tau).

Through these visits, students had the opportunity to gain practical learning experiences that would benefit their study orientation in the specialized fields of Human Resources Psychology and Psychotherapy. It is also a chance for students to learn, exchange from many experienced doctors, psychotherapists, and human resource staff, thereby identifying the best practical approach of their majors in future careers while also feeling more motivated for their study.
Students visit the factory and food processing area at CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company
Specifically, at CP Vietnam Livestock JSC, Psychology students visited the factory and food processing area, learned an overview of labor safety procedures. They also listened to the leaders of the company introduced the personnel organization chart, the recruitment and quality management process, and many other issues related to Human Resources Psychology.
Knowing the management structure of a large company will help students understand the psychology of human resources so that they can advise potential clients who are job seekers in choosing the right companies and businesses to apply for.
HUTECH students visit the Psychiatric Hospital (Ba Ria - Vung Tau)
On their visit to the Psychiatric Hospital of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, students met with psychotherapists in learning about their experiences working on different cases of counseling and providing therapy for patients. Such valuable information has helped students gain a better understanding and specific visualizations of their roles in treating mental illnesses and providing care to patients. Students were also introduced to the hospital's organizational structure. During the tour of the clinics, students also had time to interact and talk with patients receiving treatment at the hospital.
