New Students of the Academic Year 2010 Warmly Welcomed at HUTECH

At the end of the 2010 University Enrolment, HUTECH Faculties warmly welcomed the new students. This is the yearly orientation day held to guide the new students such issues as various majors, curricula, observation and internship, employment opportunities as well as school extra activities.

On the morning of 30 October, 2010, the Heads and Trade Union of the Environment and Biotechnology Faculty welcomed their new students who are young, energetic, and creative to continue the Faculty tradition of over 11 years of development.

Coming to the ceremony was the presence of Mr. Kieu Tuan, HUTECH Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Board of Trustees, Mr. Van Du, HUTECH Deputy  Party Committee secretary and Vice-Rector, and the Heads of Faculties and Offices. Associate Professor and Doctor Hoang Hung, Dean of Environment and Biotechnology and the teaching staff also participated in the ceremony.

Former students of the Faculty were present at the Ceremony with the scholarships for the two top students in the 2010 University Entrance exam.

"I hope that the new HUTECH students in general and those of Environment and Biotechnology Faculty in particular will make every effort in their studies, and contribution to Sciences in the so-called big family - Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology," said Mr. Kieu Tuan.

On 23 October 2010, Mechanical-Electrical-Electronic Engineering Faculty also held a meeting with their students. On this occasion, 30 scholarships worth 30 million VND were handed to the excellent students by the former students.

The Ceremony for the new students shows the School's responsibilities and concerns. It is a promising journey leading to success of training in the consecutive following years of HUTECH.
