Closing ceremony of the green summer volunteer campaign in Vinh Long
In fact, for nearly a month of the campaign, the HUTECH volunteers have organized activities for children, 127 summer cultural review sessions, attracting nearly 1,000 children to participate. Hutech students collected and donated 4000 note books, 200 rulers, more than 1,500 comic books, 400 pens, 250 students clothes, 300 sets of textbooks, and awarded 60 scholarships worth 18 million to poor students. Hutech also offered as gifts for 120 children with financial difficulties. Committee for the campaign has awarded 30 scholarships "Light Dream" for students need financial aids.

In addition, Hutech volunteer students built 3 green roads and planted over 6,000 trees, constructed three happy houses in Vinh Long province, repaired one bridge in Binh tan district, built two volleyball grounds and two gates in Dong Xuan, Phu Yen province; replaced 200 news compact bulbs and changed electrical lines, switches, fuses for over 260 households...

The Green Summer campaign representative said Hutech students applied efficiently the skills and knowledge they have learned from university to participate in campaigns.
Besides, the Green Summer Campaign 2012 provides students a lot of experiences in team building and working. Through summer meaningful works students learned to share and contribute to society.
