Gyeongbuk Institute of Biotechnology had a meeting with Enviroment and Biotechnology Faculty

On 23/07/2012, in the framework of "Trade promotion conference Vietnam - South Korea in the field of Biotechnology" at the Movenpick hotel, representatives of Gyeongbuk Institute of Biotechnology (Korea) had a meeting with Hutech department of Environment and Biotechnology .

During the meeting both sides discussed under mutual interests of the research intent such as biotechnology applications in agriculture, in medicine (herbal origin), in food (especially products function).
As a Director of Biotechnology Gyeongbuk Institute, Mr. Ha Seok Hyun was interested in abundant herbal resources of Vietnam and wanted that both sides will promote collaborative research toward this project in the future .

In conclusion, both sides agreed to clarify the mode of collaboration, exchange and support by each side in order to promote further biotech applications in the particular cases.
