On April 2, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) had a meeting with Hankuk University of Foreign Languages (Korea), through which the two universities came to sign a MoU to bring many interesting learning and exchange opportunities for students.

HUTECH representatives included Dr. Ly Thien Trang - Vice President, Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong - Vice Director of the Institute of International Education, Dr. Huynh Quoc Bao - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung - Lecturer of the Faculty of Information Technology, and Mr. Kieu Van Hoang - Staff of Office of Administration Staff and students of the Institute of International Education.

At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong briefly introduced HUTECH's training program, facility system, recent exchange and scientific research activities. In particular, the Institute always facilitates the students to connect with international universities and interact with foreign friends to improve their foreign languages and develop communication skills.
During the meeting, Dr. Ly Thien Trang presented an overview of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Information Technology (IT) of HUTECH. According to Dr. Ly Thien Trang, applying AI to social management activities is a current trend. Therefore, HUTECH regularly organizes talks about AI and IT to arm students with practical knowledge on newly-updated technology trends to “show” their professional knowledge and be flexible in an ever-changing technology market.

Owing to similarities in training goals, HUTECH signed an MOU with Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. During the meeting, students from the two universities were divided into groups to chat and learn about the cultures of the two countries along with the interaction between Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung and the students through AI-related questions.
