HUTECH cooperated with the non-governmental organization Christina Noble Children's Foundation

Recently, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) had a discussion with the non-governmental organization Christina Noble Children's Foundation, initiating more future student support plans.

Christina Noble Children’s Foundation (CNCF) is a non-governmental organization based in the United Kingdom, working for disadvantaged children in Vietnam and several other countries around the world. CNCF has been supporting and meeting the needs for healthcare, education, and physical and mental well-being of students.

A myriad of CNCF’s outstanding activities in Vietnam included English language training, educational support for schools, scholarship funds, primary education, development of comprehensive programs on food, health, healthcare, vocational training, clean water, and environmental sanitation, etc.

Representatives of HUTECH attending the visiting trip were Dr. Huynh Ngoc Anh - Vice President, Mr. Nguyen Hong Quy and Ms. Lam My Trinh - Deputy Heads of the Office of Student Affairs, and Mr. Ho Tra Phal - Staff of the Office of Student Affairs.

During the meeting, both parties introduced their establishment and development process as well as the upcoming cooperation opportunities, strategies, and support. Notably, CNCF highly recognized HUTECH’s achievements over the past 29 years. Particularly, Ms. Dinh Thi Ngoc Quy was impressed by the dynamic and pioneering spirit in most activities of HUTECH students and HUTECH’s high ranking in QS Stars with 4 stars in total (one of the world’s top three prestigious university rankings).

CNCF shared their interests in environment protection, green energy, and renewable energy and also offered many scholarships and projects that encouraged students to engage in these fields. As a result, both sides agreed on collaboration in the following areas: educational exchange; scholarship policies for disabled and ethnic minority students, and students with difficult and disadvantaged circumstances; mutual coordination and support in community service and connection activities; internships for real-life projects for students.
