The opening ceremony of HUTECH Faculty and Staff Sports Fest

On the morning of April 8, the opening ceremony of the Sports Fest for the faculty and staff of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) took place in an atmosphere filled with great excitement and eagerness of the participants.
Held at the Dien Bien Phu Main Campus, the opening ceremony had the presence of Dr. Kieu Tuan - Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoang Viet - Vice President, Dr. Vu Van Hoang - Chairman of HUTECH Entrepreneur Club, General Director of Dai Viet Construction Company, the official sponsor of the Sports Fest, along with leaders of various faculties, departments, institutes, and centers within the university.

Following the opening ceremony, the contestants participated in various games including Breaking clay pot while blindfolded, Potato sack race, Tug of war among enthusiastic cheers coming from a large group of audience. After moments of exhilaration and heated competitions, the first place winners were crowned for the following categories including Institute of Professional Training (Breaking clay pot while blindfolded), the coalition team made up of Faculty of Japanese Studies and Faculty of English (Potato sack race), and Office of Facilities Management (Tug of war).

Office of Facilities Management, Faculty of Information Technology, and Institute of Applied Sciences are make up the top three teams in the Tug of war game
On the afternoon of April 10, men's football will officially start at the Binh Minh football field (158/3 Binh Quoi, Ward 27, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City). The first-round games consist of the following matchups: Faculty of Information Technology vs. Faculty of Pharmacy, Institute of Professional Training vs. the coalition team Office of Administration and IT Center, Institute of Engineering vs. Institute of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Civil Engineering vs. Office of Academic Services and Testing.
