Following an intense round of competition in the "Entrepreneurial Challenge" stage, the Organizing Committee of the HUTECH Startup Wings 2025 has officially announced the Top 6 most outstanding projects advancing to the Final.

TEA PIE – Herbal Milk Tea Tablets (Institute of Engineering):
This convenient herbal milk tea tablet product began development in February 2024 and completed testing on May 23, 2024. Created by students from the Institute of Engineering, TEA PIE targets young consumers, office workers, retail outlets, and coffee shops. With standout advantages such as easy preparation, diverse flavors, premium quality, and an affordable price point, TEA PIE offers a fast, flavorful milk tea experience. Its tablet format suits fast-paced modern lifestyles and opens promising opportunities for commercialization in the beverage market.

Shrimptech – Shrimp Pond Monitoring System with Integrated Deep Learning (Faculty of Finance and Commerce):
Shrimptech is a real-time pond monitoring and management system that uses deep learning to analyze environmental data. Equipped with sensors for temperature, pH, and dissolved oxygen, the system provides accurate updates on pond conditions. In case of irregularities, it automatically sends alerts to the farmer's phone, allowing timely intervention and risk mitigation. Additionally, Shrimptech uses AI to optimize feed amounts based on actual shrimp needs, reducing costs, minimizing water pollution, and boosting productivity. With a mobile app, farmers can monitor their ponds anytime, anywhere.

This home mushroom-growing kit is both convenient and sustainable, utilizing turmeric pulp—a nutrient-rich byproduct from curcumin extraction—as the growing medium. The kit includes pre-processed turmeric pulp, high-quality mushroom spawn for rapid growth, a protective grow bag, a water spray bottle, and detailed instructions. Within just 12–15 days, users can harvest fresh mushrooms to create healthy and nutritious meals.

These shells can be reused to hold accessories, tools, or simply as decorative items, extending the product’s lifecycle and reducing waste.

This project seeks to enhance the value and versatility of tamarind by transforming it into various market-driven products such as tamarind syrup and mildly sweet chili tamarind jam made from its pulp and seeds. Tamarind seed powder, rich in natural gums, is ideal for thickening, emulsifying, and gelling in snacks and brown rice noodles. Additionally, tamarind seed coat extract can be used to make tea high in tannins, polyphenols, and catechins, providing added fiber.

Born from a desire to breathe new life into discarded coconut shells, each Peaceful Night candle is handcrafted using natural vegetable wax and infused with pure essential oils—free from artificial fragrances and harmful chemicals. More than just candles, they tell a story of renewal, healing, and green living. Users can enjoy gentle floral notes of ylang-ylang, white tea, lemon, lemongrass, mint, orange peel, and more—soothing scents to lull you into restful sleep.
