At the very campus of HUTECH headquarter (475A Điện Biên Phủ Street, Ward 25, Bình Thạnh District, HCM City), the crowd gave ground to “Japanese Corporate’s Job Exhibition 2015” on the 2nd and 3rd of October, 2015.

The success of the Exhibition was due to the joining hands of the 30 businesses, including 7 from Japan and 23 Japanese corporates in Vietnam. They came from a wide range of industries, offering up to 500 posts in the Exhibition. For top most generous companies, the place was shared by Mini Stop Ltd. ( a Japanese-based AEON Group’s subsidiary), Nidec Seimitsu (Vietnam), Nissei Electric (Vietnam), Lifecreations, RH (Vietnam), Senko, Kantec (Japan), among others.

Student participants were offered opportunities to watch the exhibits, directly discuss with the reps in order to learn the corporate cultures as well as the requirements from the employers. Additionally, the session University-Corporate Collaboration, on the 2nd, played the information hub for participants to update the student supports programs, and job offerings. As the best part of the show, 6 businesses from Japan treated our seniors immediate interviews on the industries that were on high demands in Japan, such as: IT, Mechanics, Electronics, Construction, Architecture. Candidates with young, active and expertise hearts could be picked out. The dream jobs in Japan were still in the reach.

Here, participants could explore customs of the Land of Cherry blossom through exciting activities: Henna Tattoo body painting, Kirigami – paper cutting arts, putting on traditional Kimono, taking part in the Race to the Olympias, making sushi, rice rolls, fancying Japanese performance and fashion shows, Cosplays, and so much more.

With the goal to lead our students to the best job offerings, HUTECH has been enhancing full collaborations with Japanese partners for recent years. In October, 2014, HUTECH started the project HUTECH’s Vocational Center for High Capacity Human Resources at Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) in order to bring high quality training, provide excellent engineers in the fields of electronics, automation, bio-technology, IT, new energy, materials to SHTP and other Hi-Tech Parks in the area, especially ones from Japan. Since 2015, Vietnam-Japan Institute of Technology, established by HUTECH and head Japanese partners, in the collaboration relationships with Association of Japanese Businesses, has started recruiting for Japan-standardized Engineer and Bachelor Program. The Program works in the orientation of supporting the young with their ambition to place themselves in the professional environment of Japanese companies.

Once more, HUTECH has proved itself a great choice for Japanese companies, this time through the Exhibition. In addition, the Exhibition itself was illustrated as an exemplary success of the effective relationships among HUTECH-Businesses-Students that has gained HUTECH a place in the Japanese’s heart.
