On the 16th of January 2016, the exchange program between the Japanese Business Association,
Vietnam oversea alumni group from Aichi - Japan (VARONET) and Vietnam- Japan Institute of
Technology students (VJIT) – Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) took place lively,
meaningful in A-8:20 auditorium, HUTECH main campus.
Exchange Program took place at HUTECH main campus on the morning of 16/1
Participating in the exchange program there were Mr. Torii Yasuhiro – Representative Aichi Provincial
office; Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoang Viet – HUTECH Vice President and Director of the Vietnam- Japan Institute
of Technology; representatives of Japanese enterprises and more than 400 students studying at VJIT.
Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoang Viet - HUTECH Vice President, Director of VJIT hopes that students VJIT will meet
the requirements of Japanese firms after graduation
Giving the opening speech for the program, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoang Viet, said he very appreciative and
grateful for the sentiment of the enterprises, the Aichi alumni who took the time to visit HUTECH and
share their experiences with and VJIT students in particularly and HUTECH generally. "With the success
of the first season's admissions Japanese standard University program, I hope to have a student
generation that excels in their expertise, holding solid Japanese and keeping a structural working style of
Japan qualified to meet the strict requirements of enterprises."
Appreciating the training program of the HUTECH Vietnam - Japan Institute of Technology, Mr. Torii
Yasuhiro said that this is a new highlight in the educational system of Vietnam as "the program has really
caught the attention of the government and Japanese firms for promising to train high quality work
force to meet the professional personnel demands of Japanese enterprises."

Throughout the exchange program, many information in the field of business production, large
manpower needs of Japanese businesses, the necessary and sufficient condition for external
recruitment is having solid knowledge of Japanese, strong expertise were also shared with HUTECH
students by business representatives such as the company Sanko mold (specialized in processing and
manufacturing of plastic products, molds), NEXCO company (specialized in management and operation
of the highway systems), etc. Sanko Mold company representative stressed that: "Japanese and
expertise are two important factors for employment but consciousness and attitudes towards new work
is the deciding factor in the work environment of Japanese firms ".
VJIT students raised many questions related to manpower demands and working environment in
Japanese firms.

students of VJIT
Specially, VARONET Oversea Alumni Association has presented a surprise gift: a scholarship worths
10,000,000 VND for students of HUTECH Japanese standard University program that have outstanding
academic achievement in the past semester.
