Deputy Governor of Saitama Prefecture highly praised the training programs at HUTECH.

In the morning of July 06, 2016 the delegation from Saitama Prefecture (Japan) led by Mr. Iwasaki Yasuo - Deputy Governor of Saitama Prefecture paid an official visit to Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH). Accordingly, Prof. Dr. Ho Dac Loc - President, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoang Viet – Vice President, Director of the Vietnam - Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT) and MSc. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, HUTECH Center for Japanese Language had a cordial meeting with the delegation at A03.09 auditorium, 475A Dien Bien Phu main campus.

At the meeting, Mr. Iwasaki Yasuo said, according to statistics of the first quarter of 2016, Vietnam is one of the most appealing countries to businesses with aspiration of international investment. Currently in Saitama Prefecture there are 86 businesses investing in Vietnam and this number is expected to continue to grow rapidly. According, one of the current concerning issues is to maintain the local workforce and the middle management team, thus aligning businesses with educational units is the correct course of action bringing practical benefits for Vietnam, the Japanese businesses generally and the Saitama Prefecture particularly.
Sharing with Mr. Iwasaki Yasuo, Prof. Dr. Ho Dac Loc claimed that the Japanese standard training program of at HUTECH VJIT is currently focusing on training three elements: Attitude – Awareness – Responsibility, this plays an important role in the school’s effort to accompany Japanese businesses association in Vietnam by providing high quality workforce.The cohesion between businesses and the school, business and students is always the main matter that the school focuses on promoting.  This is the training orientation that fits the profile with that Mr. Iwasaki Yasuo was interested in, and particularly supported by the Japanese government.

During the visit, the delegation visited Vietnam-Japan Institute of Technology in Area A and PD (Project Design) classrooms of the school. After the meeting along with the firsthand observations of the facilities, scale, training process and chat with students of Japanese standard program, Mr. Iwasaki Yasuo highly praised the program at HUTECH VJIT.
