Students exchange on the effect of Metro tunnels to tall buildings and architectures in Paris

In the afternoon of January 08th, 2019, Mr. Phan Ngoc Anh, an expert regarding Civil Engineering from Socotec Company (France), shared some experiences on the topic “The effect of Metro tunnels to tall buildings and structures” and his experience to students at Faculty of Civil Engineering of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH).
 
Dr. Khong Trong Toan, Dean of Faculty of Civil Engineering, along with lecturers and students of the Faculty attended the seminar.

At the seminar, Mr. Phan Ngoc Anh, a researcher and architectural designer who has worked for a long time in Paris, shared two of his reports: “The effect of Metro tunnels to tall buildings and structures in Paris.” and “Application of API technology in the automated processes of architectural design.”

In addition, lecturers and students at Faculty of Civil Engineering also spent time exchanging information and ideas, and discussing matters relating to Civil Engineering with Mr. Phan Ngoc Anh. The seminar was an essential activity for the students, which helped them gain valuable knowledge through their exchanges with the expert.
