Greentech HUTECH has been named the winner of the 10th “Human and Environment” 2019 contest

On April 20, the finale of the 10th “Human and Environment” 2019 contest took place at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH). After four rounds, the competition has named the Greentech team from HUTECH as the First prize winner.
Accompanying the contestants in the Final Round were members of the leadership of HUTECH Institute of Applied Sciences, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang - Lecturer of the University of Science, Mr. Phan Tuan Trieu - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nong Lam Environmental Technology Company.

The top four teams competing in the Final Round were Greentech (HUTECH), Paper Packaging (HUTECH), Green (University of Science - Vietnam National University HCMC), TDT - MT2 (Ton Duc Thang University). These teams together displayed excellent and dramatic performance through four rounds of competition, including Creativity, Knowledge, Talent, and Towards a green future. In the end, there could only be one team that came out on top.

Through each round, the teams demonstrated their understandings of the current state of the environment, as well as advanced methods and solutions currently applied around the globe in responding to major environmental problems. In addition, the contestants also showed their creativity and ingenuity in their clever and unique answers. In the Talent round, each team had the chance to showcase their eco-products made from plastic waste and recyclable materials. These products were praised by the judges for their low cost yet high practical value.

In the end, with their exceptional performance, Greentech attained the highest score and was named the winner of the competition. In second and third place were TDT - MT2 and Green, respectively. Last but not least, Paper Packaging received the consolation prize for a commendable effort.
