HUTECH is honored with the Second Class Labor Medal

On the morning of April 18, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) solemnly celebrated its 20th anniversary (April 26, 1995 - April 26, 2015) at the main campus located at 475A Dien Bien Phu, Ward 25, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
The ceremony welcomed the presence of Prof. Dr. Pham Vu Luan - Minister of Education and Training, Mr. Huynh Thanh Lap - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Committee, Head of the Delegation of the National Assembly of Ho Chi Minh City. The celebration was also joined by leaders of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, heads of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, leaders of Binh Thanh District, representatives from enterprise partners along with university’s leaders and over 400 managers, lecturers, and staff of HUTECH.

Over 20 years of construction and development, HUTECH has achieved many excellent accomplishments in education and research that are recognized by the government and society. On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, HUTECH is overjoyed and honored to receive the Second Class Labor Medal from the President. This achievement is a testament to the significant contributions of HUTECH to the cause of education that driving the progress of the country’s industrialization and modernization.

On this occasion, HUTECH was also awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Education and Training for outstanding achievements in the process of building and developing the University over the 1995-2015 period. Besides, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also awarded the Traditional Flag to the collective of HUTECH leaders and staff for their outstanding performance over the years, contributing positively to the cause of building and developing the city, etc. Moreover, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City proudly awarded certificates of merit to three collectives and six individuals for their excellent achievements.
