HUTECH welcomes the external assessment delegation from VNU-HCM CEA to officially accredited educational institutions

Welcoming the delegation as representatives of HUTECH were Prof. D.Sc. Ho Dac Loc - Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien - Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Dinh Bay - Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong - Vice Rector, and Dr. Bui Van The Vinh - Vice Rector.

At the opening session, Prof. D.Sc. Ho Dac Loc thanked the assessment team and shared the development of HUTECH since the first inspection: "In the past 5 years, the University has employed a deeper and more mature view of its vision and mission. The mission of education, through which the quality accreditation of training programs has been continuously focused, achieved many successes, and made great strides both in numbers and quality. Looking ahead to bringing quality programs to future learners, at all levels, HUTECH will absorb ideas and make continued efforts to perfect the high-quality human resource training system."
 

By means of the introductory video, the assessment team gained an overview of the outstanding development of HUTECH during the past 28 years as well as what HUTECH has achieved in the past  5 years of focused effort to develop facilities and staff, training programs and scope, networks of cooperation both domestically and foreign, activities for students, etc.

During the course of the program, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien provided further information about the University and presented an overview of the self-assessment process based on the quality assessment standards of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Education and Training in the period of 2018 - 2022. It was made clear that from the first accreditation of the institution, HUTECH has maintained continuous accreditation and has made efforts to significantly improve its educational system and facilities, ensuring that the quality is increasingly relevant to the needs of students and the developments in society, in science, and in technology.

On behalf of the external assessment committee, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh expressed his appreciation for the school's thoroughness in self-assessment, which would help their accreditation work to be conducted smoothly and methodically.

In response, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam thanked the accreditation board and expressed his hope for a valid assessment and good results from this inspection, including recommendations for the development of HUTECH.
 

At the end of the Opening Ceremony, the external evaluation team officially started the accreditation process of the educational institution of HUTECH and worked continuously for 5 days. The survey activities of the delegation certainly resulted in an accurate assessment of the University. The official survey program closed on August 12^th.

The EIA will officially start accrediting educational institutions at HUTECH continuously in the next 5 days
