Two VJIT students received Sakura Science scholarships for a study exchange in Japan

Through the admission process and interview of the Evaluation Council, 02 students Tran Thao Vy and Le Thuy Yen Vy of the Vietnam - Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT) of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) have successfully passed the exam, being awarded a scholarship to participate in the "Sakura Science Program 2023" at Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT) in Japan. The study program will take place from October 8 to 15, 2023.

 

Participating in the program, Thao Vy and Yen Vy will have the opportunity to learn Japanese and immerse themselves in the culture. Besides, they will participate in experiencing the process of developing products and services using science and technology, researching the use of products and services in the region, and creating solutions for development internationalization of products and services. At the same time, they will learn about seafood processing processes, advanced machinery technology, technological hygiene management,...

 

Seizing the opportunity to "go abroad", Thao Vy said she will try her best to experience the culture, learn Japanese lifestyle, study and work and spread the good things about Japan to the people, culture and country of Vietnam and international friends. Meanwhile, Yen Vy hopes this trip will help improve her professional qualifications, develop communication skills and participate in research projects and social activities in Japan.

Thao Vy shared, "To achieve this result, I have put effort and perseverance into self-study and am looking for practice opportunities to improve my language skills. Every day, I always try to read, write and listen to Japanese a lot to get familiar with the language through listening to music, watching YouTube, animation, etc. In addition, I was also a member of the Isshou Club, participating in Organize volunteering and social events to meet and interact with many people. Through these experiences, I learned many practical skills and developed confidence, which is the foundation that helps me achieve my current achievements."
