[Staff - Lecturers - Staff workshop HUTECH Conference 2023] Unveiled as the champion of Chess and Chinese Chess

On the morning of October 10th, the Staff - Lecturers - Staff Workshop of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology HCM City (HUTECH) officially started in the first 2 disciplines, Chess and Chinese Chess. After many intense mental battles, the championship of the two disciplines was officially revealed.

Chess attracted 51 athletes who participated in an exciting competition. The competition rules were based on the Swiss system, with each athlete competing in five games. After the matches of minds, Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai of the Physical Education Center won convincingly and was crowned the champion of Chess for this year.
In the afternoon of the same day, another chess tournament of equal interest took place. There were 58 athletes who demonstrated their skills through skillful moves. Maintaining a strong performance through 6 rounds, Mr. Nghiem Hoang Hai of the Institute of Technology won the overall victory, winning the Chess Championship 2023.
Congratulations to all the teachers for their hard work and excellence in the last match. This is the pride of the unit's Trade Union group as well as HUTECH. The next two sports competitions will be in Swimming and Tug of War and will take place on October 22nd. Do not forget to "note" this schedule, recharge our batteries, and be ready to "reap" the best achievements for your unit in the next matches!
