Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) was officially established on April 26, 1995, under Decision No. 235/QĐ-TTg by the Prime Minister. Since then, HUTECH has demonstrated unwavering progress and has emerged as one of the leading universities in Vietnam.
Guided by the principles of “Knowledge - Morality - Creativity", HUTECH is renowned for its discipline diversity and educational offerings. With 63 majors across various disciplines, such as Technology - Engineering, Business - Management, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Architecture - Arts, Communication - Design; HUTECH is dedicated to meeting the educational needs of students and society.
Today, HUTECH offers four state-of-the-art campuses located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, spanning over 100,000 square meters and designed to meet international standards. At HUTECH, students are provided with a modern, dynamic, and comfortable learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth.

HUTECH is among the first higher education institutions in Vietnam to adopt ISO 9001:2015 standards as well as AUN-QA program accreditation. Furthermore, HUTECH has achieved 4 Stars from the internationally renowned higher education ranking organization Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).
Over the past years, HUTECH has been recognized for its outstanding contributions to education and has received numerous commendations from the State and local government. Noteworthy among these are a First-class Labor Order, a Second-class Labor Order, and three Third-class Labor Orders awarded by the President of Vietnam.
