Tree Planting Ceremony in Partnership Between HUTECH and LG Electronics

On July 11th, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), in collaboration with LG Electronics Vietnam LTD, held a Tree Planting Ceremony at HUTECH Institute of High Technology - Hitech Park Campus.
20 trees were planted at the HUTECH Institute of High Technology
Representatives of HUTECH's leadership were Dr. Kieu Tuan - Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Member of the Board of Directors; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong - Vice President; Dr. Le Dinh Luong - Head of the Office of Administration, Chairman of the Labor Union; Mr. Ho Duc Sinh - Director of the Center for Corporate Relations.
Representatives of LG Electronics Vietnam were Mr. Song Ikhwan – Sales & Marketing General Director, and other LG employees.

At the opening session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong emphasized the benefits of planting trees for the community. The tree planting ceremony at Hitech Park Campus is an opportunity to enhance environmental and social values.

Mr. Song Ikhwan expressed the multiple goals of the company: to demonstrate LG's social responsibility and encourage individuals to participate in meaningful community activities.

The planting session began with the guidance of specialists. HUTECH carefully studied the soil quality as well as the conditions for the best growth of the trees.
