[Video] Exciting Opening Ceremony of International and International Affiliate Program for the academic year 2023-2024 at HUTECH

On the morning of October 23rd, the Institute of International Education Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology HCMC (HUTECH) organized the Opening Ceremony of the International and International affiliate program for the academic year 2023-2024 at the Saigon Campus.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien - Vice President expressed his congratulations and thanks to the new students for choosing to study at the Institute of International Education (I-HUTECH). He said: "Many students coming out of I-HUTECH have experienced many achievements in their careers. Given the opportunities and challenges of a society that is changing day by day, I hope students will adapt quickly, build an independent lifestyle, work hard to accumulate professional knowledge, hone soft skills, and practice foreign language skills - especially English. Those things will be a platform for you from which to connect with the world and succeed more easily."
Dr. Nguyen Thuy Hong Van - Director of the Institute of International Education performed the opening drumming ceremony, opening a new school year which promises many good results . She also encouraged the new students to try their best to achieve good results.

In order to motivate the new students, Nguyen Thi Phuong Linh, a student from the senior class, also shared effective learning methods: "First, listen and learn seriously. Second, learn how to manage your time effectively. Finally, whether you are an introvert or an extrovert, you should participate in competitions or activities organized by I-HUTECH."

Nguyen Thi Phuong Linh shared her advice for learning with freshmen
Many scholarships were also awarded at the opening ceremony, such as: scholarships for students with good English achievements and scholarships for soft skills training in Phu Quoc sponsored by Golden Land real estate company. At the opening ceremony, HUTECH also signed a MoU with 02 units, Saigon Business Club and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Business Club, opening up practical training activities for students. As a representative of businesses attending the opening ceremony, Mr. Ngo Thanh Tung - Permanent Vice Chairman of Saigon Business Club congratulated the new students and expressed his expectation that they will study and train their best to become talented future entrepreneurs.

The opening ceremony was attended by Ms. Ngoc Quach, Education Development Officer, U.S. Consulate General Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Jeremy Luna, U.S. Consulate General Ho Chi Minh City, Dr. Azriey Mazlan, Education Counselor, Consulate General of Malaysia, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhiem - Educational Administrative Assistant, Consulate General of Malaysia at HCMC; Ms. Flora Canetti - Consulate General of France in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Hyun-Chul Lee - Director of External Affairs of Yeungnam University (Korea) and Ms. Dang Thi Doc - International Student Care Specialist of Yeungnam University (Korea), together with representatives of many partner businesses.
Representatives of Hutech, who attended the opening ceremony included the chairman of the school board, vice president, and lecturers, as well as staff of Faculties/Institutes/Departments/Departments/Centers at the University.
