On March 6th, 2013, VIA University College, TEKO and Ho Chi Minh city University of Technology ( HUTECH) had a signing ceremony of training cooperation. Representing the two universities, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Dac Loc, Rector of Hutech, and Ms. Helle Winding, Director of Education -Business of VIA University College. The honored witnesses of the signing ceremony were Mr. Do Huu Tuyet, Representative of Vietnamese Ministry of Training and Education and Denmark Minister Pia Olsen Dyhr – Minister of Trade and Investment.

The signed agreement stated that Danish students from Via University College, TEKO will study their third semester in HUTECH. The credits they earned in Hutech will be recognized and evaluated to equivalent results in the Denmark University. The first group of students plan to come to Hutech on August of 2013.
Speaking in that context, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Dac Loc, Rector of Hutech expressed :" HUTECH is honor to be selected as VIA University College strategic partnership in the student exchange program. The collaboration between the two universities will benefit both of Vietnamese and Denmark students in communicating, learning in the international environment. HUTECH believes that two universities will continue to expand the extensive cooperation in many other areas in the future."

From VIA University College, Ms. Helle Winding reaffirmed the international experiences play an important role for young people. TEKO and HUTECH create the best program of cultural knowledge and expertise for Denmark and Vietnamese students. I believe that the students will be more confident about their future."
Mr. Do Huu Tuyet - Vice President of representative office of Ministry of Education and Training in Ho Chi Minh city has one more expressed his satisfaction with the relations between Vietnam and Denmark in training cooperation of student exchange program. He mentioned :" Today the Signing Ceremony between Teko University of Denmark and Hutech University is a milestone marking the cooperation in fields of Joint Training, in terms of Education, between Denmark and Vietnam."

Denmark Minister of Trade and Investment Pia Olsen Dyhr reaffirmed in that context: " I believed that Vietnam and Denmark can learn from each other in the field of education... This will provide the students with a unique opportunity to experience first hand the business culture in Vietnam and the operations of the textile industry."
