Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Encourage HUTECH to Invest in New Hi-tech Products

Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has granted a list of 9 hi-tech products for investment priority and another 65 ones for investment encouragement until 2020. HUTECH has possessed 2 out of 65 sophisticated inventions to be capitalized. The HUTECH Hi-tech Institute is located at block E2b.1-2-3, D1 Street, Scientific Center of Saigon Hi-tech Park, Ho Chi Minh City with the area of 42.600m2 and required capital investment up to 500 million VND.

“New mission”

According to the official dispatch 5406/UBND-CNN on October 11^th, 2013, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City emboldens HUTECH to invest in 2 hi-tech products, categorized group 17 and group 61, at HUTECH Hi-tech Institute.

HUTECH will research and produce products catagorized group 17, including effective micro-organisms for agriculture and environmental management, specifically using biological Enva as fertilizer and Emina as nucleopolyhedriosis virus (NPV). In addition, material Nano categorized group 61 is encouraged to use in industry, agriculture, biology, health service and environmental engineering as Carbon nano tube, magnetic iron Nano and Nano Platin.

People’s Committee encourages HUTECH Hi-tech Institute to invest in production of Biology Technology and Nano materials

The investment advocacy of People’s Committee has strongly motivated HUTECH Hi-tech Institute to boost the research in specified areas: (1) Research and implement new hi-tech application in Information and Automation Technology and Biology as well as New and Recycle Energy in the future; (2) Test new product; (3) Consult transferring research, scientific and automate technology information; (4) Cooperate in researching and transferring hi-tech products with domestic and international enterprises.
