Student Huynh Thi Thuy Duy majoring Food Technology belonging Bio and Food Tech and Environment Faculty achieved encouraging prize in Young Achievers Safe Food competition with 2 products “Raggie dried beef made from abalone mushroom” and “flavor made from reddish brown rice”.

The event was organized by Vietnam Association of Food Science and Technology(VAFoST) in collaboration with UBM Exhibition Company within framework of Food Ingredients Vietnam 2015 lasted from 20 to May 22, 2015 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC).
The 20 best entries have been chosen for the final round of a competition called “Young Achievers’ safe Food”. They were selected from 19 universities and colleges around Vietnam. Huynh Thi Thuy Duy, student from HUTECH university had a written proposal and an oral presentation and poster presentation for her products under Dr. Nguyen Le Ha’s guide.

It has proven that HUTECH encourages and gives opportunities for young talent in order to source, grow and nurture the future leaders of Vietnam's food and beverage industry.
