Vietnam-Japan Institute of Technology welcomed Jesco Asia Company and Toa Kogyo Company (Japan)

On March 04, 2024, the Vietnam-Japan Institute of Technology of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) had a meeting with Jesco Asia Company and Toa Kogyo Company (Japan), aiming to create learning and job opportunities for engineering students.
JESCO ASIA is a comprehensive engineering company which is Japan's high-quality professional provider of construction of buildings and plants as well as related MEP design, installation, and maintenance services. The company established a subsidiary in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam 23 years ago (2001-2024) in which they have accumulated great experience and achievement. JESCO ASIA’s principal business was initially design and quantity estimation for electrical and communication equipment.
Toa Kogyo Company was established in 1960, and is currently operating in the field of the manufacturing of car body structure parts, functional parts of suspension systems, and main components for houses. The company which currently has 7 factories in Japan and 2 factories in the United States is a manufacturing partner for Lexus car components and supplies 50% of car components for Subaru.

Representatives of the two companies included Mr. Osawa Shigeyuki - CEO of Toa Kogyo; Mr. Hasegawa Kuniaki - Technical Director of Toa Kogyo; Mr. Kashima Hideyasu - General Director of Jesco Asia; and Mr. Kawano Makoto - Director of Gunma Bank, representing the Ho Chi Minh City office. For VJIT, there were Ms. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice Director in charge of VJIT and Dr. Ha Minh Tuan - Vice Director of VJIT.

Initially, Ms. Nguyen Xuan Hung briefly introduced HUTECH’s training programs and training quality. In addition, he commented on HUTECH students’ wonderful experiences while working in Japan. Subsequently, all representatives discussed cooperation possibilities, internship programs, and job opportunities for students. Finally, the meeting ended with abundant potential and positive collaboration opportunities for all parties.
