On April 6, 2024, the Institute of International Education of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a graduation ceremony for 410 new graduates of the Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from the International and Transnational programs.

The memorable ceremony recognized the relentless endeavors of 410 students including 13 with a Masters’ degree from the program of Open University Malaysia (OUM), two with a Masters’ degree from the program of Lincoln University (USA), 64 Bachelors of two joint-training programs with OUM and Lincoln University, and 331 Bachelors of HUTECH International programs.

Initially, Dr. Ly Thien Trang, Vice President of HUTECH, congratulated all graduates on this special day. In the joyful atmosphere, Dr. Trang encouraged students to strive for their awaiting journey after graduation as follows: “Today’s ceremony is a fresh start for new journeys and new heights. That’s why I hope you all keep up your good work as you’ve always done and appreciate all your efforts and sleepless nights, which will lay the groundwork for your next stops later in life”.

On behalf of all new graduates, Mr. Le Nguyen Hoang Minh, Bachelor of Information Technology of the HUTECH International program, paid his tribute to lecturers and parents and stated his determination to thrive in his future career. His words were filled with emotion as he shared that “The four years at HUTECH is not too long, yet enough for us to learn, experience, and grow every single day. This is also the final, yet most memorable ceremony over the course of my life, as a HUTECH student!”.

The ceremony which took place at Thu Duc Campus was attended by representatives of partner universities including Mr. Azriey Mazlan - Education Counselor, Consul General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City; Prof. Dr. Ahmad Izanee Awang - Vice Chairman of the University Council, President of OUM; Prof. Dr. Mohd Tajudin Md Ninggal - Vice Chairman of the University Council, Vice President of OUM; Ms. Khairani Abdul Razak - Deputy General Director of OUM Evaluation and Testing Department; Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF); and Mr. Nguyen Ba Anh - Vice Director of UEF International Education Institute.
