[Video] Practical researches published at the 2024 Language and Social Sciences Conference

On July 4th, the 2024 Language and Social Sciences Conference was held by the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH).
At the opening session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Dinh Bay – Vice President emphasized the importance of Social Sciences and Humanities as a driving force in the development of society. This conference demonstrates HUTECH’s significant efforts to promote interdisciplinary connections while providing valuable comprehensive research for the community.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo emphasized the vital role of Social Sciences and Humanities
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Viet - Head of the Science and Technology Department, Head of the Conference Organizers’ Committee, presented an overview of the conference preparation. The 2024 Social Sciences and Languages Conference accepted papers from December 2023 to May 2024. Following the selection and review procedure, 57 full-text articles from more than 80 writers were published in the conference proceedings, and 28 studies were chosen to report to subcommittees.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham briefly introduced the preparation phases for the 2024 Language and Social Sciences Conference
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham also encouraged scientists and professionals to participate and contribute to research projects at the next scientific conferences, particularly the International Science Conference in 2025 to celebrate HUTECH's 30th anniversary.
After the opening session, the plenary report session under the direction of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Dinh Nguyen - Vice President began with two reports, including "The Role of Lecturers in Building Professional Behaviors for University Students" by Dr. Vu Quoc Anh - Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Public Relations, and "Correlation between Perceived organizational support and the stress of university lecturers in Ho Chi Minh City” by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Giau – Lecturer of the Faculty of Communication and Design.

Following the plenary session, the reporting session at the subcommittees for Social Sciences, Law, and Linguistics continued. Many studies during the conference focused on practical issues, such as improving teaching techniques, enhancing learning experiences, using artificial intelligence (AI), etc.
Along with the presented studies, attendees at the conference actively discussed relevant issues and contributed ideas for more comprehensive research. The academic exchanges at the conference have helped to provide beneficial and practical scientific values, as well as to promote potential future collaboration in scientific research, particularly in the field of Social Sciences and Linguistics at HUTECH.
