HUTECH works with Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO)

On August 6th, the Vietnam-Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT) - Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) had a discussion session with representatives of JETRO Tokyo R. Office and JETRO Ho Chi Minh City, creating a premise for cooperation with Japanese government agencies, and providing prospective career opportunities for post-graduates.

JETRO, Japan External Trade Organization, is a government-related organization that works to promote mutual trade and investment between Japan and the rest of the world. 


JETRO representatives were:
- Mr. Swastik Kulkarni - Project Manager, Global Talent Acquisition Department,
- Ms. Momoka Urano - Member of the Division of JETRO Tokyo Office,
- Ms. Kawasaki Minako - Deputy Head of JETRO Ho Chi Minh Representative,
- Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Suong - Specialist.

Representatives of HUTECH were:
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Canh - Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of Directors;
- Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Vice Director of VJIT
- Dr. Ha Minh Tuan - Vice Director

During the working session, Prof. Dr. Le Van Canh expressed his gratitude to JETRO and stated that he expected the two parties to continue developing prospective cooperation programs. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung thanked JETRO's HCMC for supporting VJIT in connecting with enterprises. Moreover, he also shared the results of the Technology & Recruitment Fair of Japanese enterprises - Japan Job Fair 2024 on July 27th
.

In response, Ms. Kawasaki Minako presented several projects to connect Japanese enterprises with HUTECH students. According to Mr. Kawasaki, the number of Japanese FDIs in Vietnam is increasing. Therefore, the demand for recruiting individuals qualified in expertise and Japanese is a priority.
