Recently, the Institute of International Education of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a working session with representatives of Monash University (MU) - Australia. This was an opportunity for the two institutions to expand cooperation and implement joint student training projects.

Monash University representatives attending the working session were:
- Professor Aijun Huang - Associate Dean-International;
- Professor Ha Bui - Head of the Civil Engineering Department;
- Associate Professor Dong Ngo Duy - Head of Transport Engineering.
Representatives of HUTECH were:
- Dr. Ly Thien Trang - Vice President;
- Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong - Vice Director of the Institute of International Education;
- Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Hung - Vice Director of the Institute of Engineering.

During the meeting, MU provided an overview of their education system and the implemented training programs. MU also shared the goal of expanding the influence of the transnational education program (TNE) to overseas partners, engaging with the community, and cooperating with local industry.

Afterward, Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong presented an overview of HUTECH’s facilities and the Institute of International Education's training programs, student exchange programs, collaborative research projects, and key research spheres.
HUTECH and MU discussed joint articulation curricula such as 2+2 and 3+1+1. The two universities also expressed their desire to sign an MOU, aiming to create a premise for educational cooperation, in addition to the exchange of lecturers, students, and joint research.

The exchange between HUTECH and Monash University aims to establish an advantageous foundation for students, including international academic growth and cultural exchange opportunities, ultimately fostering a globally integrated young generation.
