HUTECH works with the Mahatma Gandhi University (India)

On August 24th, the Department of Science and Technology - Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) welcomed and had a working session with Mahatma Gandhi University (India), opening up many opportunities for cooperation in research projects and study programs for students. 

Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) is one of the most prestigious universities in India. It was founded in 1983 in Kottayam, Kerala, India, and is named after Mahatma Gandhi, the great leader of India. Therefore, the institution's educational philosophy reflects Gandhi's values, including integral human development, peace, and sustainability. Mahatma Gandhi University is a prestigious institution that attracts students from India and other countries.

HUTECH was honored to welcome representatives of MGU: Prof. Aravindakumar - Vice Chancellor.
Representatives of HUTECH at the meeting were Dr. Ly Thien Trang - Vice President; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Viet - Head of the Department of Science and Technology.

Opening the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Viet introduced the HUTECH Education system, and HUTECH University in particular. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham emphasized the research areas of the Advanced Materials and Applications Research Group (AMA) at HUTECH and the machinery facilities for experiments. In addition, Dr. Ly Thien Trang has also provided additional information on student exchange programs.

On behalf of MGU, Prof. Aravindakumar also introduced the institution's history, facilities, and training programs. Besides, he also presented research programs that MGU is implementing in 40 majors.

Simultaneously, HUTECH and MGU share a common vision of becoming leading universities that integrate training with practical experience to provide high-quality, responsible manpower for society.
