HUTECH expands international education through collaboration with WSB Merito Universities

On October 22, the Department of International Relations and Project Management at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a working session with WSB Merito Universities (Poland) to outline detailed plans for the Erasmus Mundus project. The goal was to broaden collaboration in graduate education, specifically Master’s programs, and to enhance the quality of students and faculty at both institutions.

At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong, Deputy Head of the Department of International Relations and Project Management, provided an overview of HUTECH, highlighting notable achievements in international collaboration. Following this, Prof. Anna Semmerling, a representative from WSB Merito, shared insights about WSB Merito’s network of universities, emphasizing the international academic programs and partnership opportunities available.

Dr. Ly Thien Trang, Vice President of HUTECH, then reviewed key points from previous discussions between the two institutions, focusing on collaborative goals for the Erasmus Mundus project, along with opening further opportunities in Master's education. Priority areas included a joint Master of Business Administration program between HUTECH and WSB Merito and plans for student and faculty exchange programs.

Both sides also discussed prominent emerging topics such as sustainable development, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and modern technological trends in business management.

Representatives from both universities finalized a specific action plan for the Erasmus Mundus project, including task assignments for each party and setting key timelines to ensure timely progress.
