Multinational corporations join HUTECH International Job Fair 2025, unlocking thousands of career opportunities for students

Gathering more than 45 multinational companies and offering nearly 1,900 attractive job openings across a wide range of industries, the HUTECH International Job Fair 2025, organized by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), took place on the morning of May 22. The event became the ideal destination for students to explore their dream jobs and take solid steps toward proving their capabilities in the global labor market.
Held at the High-quality Manpower Training Center (Thu Duc Campus), the event was jointly organized by the Center for Corporate Relations, Institute of International Education, Vietnam-Japan Institute of Technology, Faculty of English Language, Faculty of Korean Studies, Faculty of Japanese Studies, and Faculty of Chinese Studies. The fair provided countless opportunities for students to connect with international companies, receive career guidance, and prepare to enter the workforce. It also served as a concrete demonstration of the university's strategy to promote education internationalization and integrate practical experience into its academic offerings. On behalf of the university, Prof. Dr. Le Van Canh, Vice President, extended sincere thanks to the guests and corporate partners for their continued support of HUTECH’s teaching efforts. He emphasized, “Over the past 30 years of development, HUTECH has continuously innovated its academic programs to nurture generations of students with strong expertise, practical skills, and global mindsets. We take pride in being a university that produces high-quality human resources to meet the demands of the global labor market. We believe that university-industry collaboration is not just a strategic direction but a core element to ensure teaching quality.”

The fair welcomed more than 45 renowned international corporations and companies, including Nestlé, Transcosmos, AIxTGB, SaiGon Ford, Indo Vietnam, Nam A Bank, Woori Bank, Guardian, Korrun Group, Superior, Yamato Protec, The New District, Zakka Naturals, Bioverse, VUS, MiniStop, ISMART, Hokuseisha, and many others. They brought a wide range of job opportunities in fields such as Business, Languages, Marketing, Information Technology, Logistics, Automotive Engineering, and more.

At the fair, students confidently applied for positions such as Intern/Sales Staff, Purchasing Officer, Import-Export Specialist, Teller, Accountant, Translator/Interpreter, Repair Technician, Marketing Staff, and more. In addition to applying, they also had the chance to listen to insights and career advice from recruiters, gaining a clearer picture of the labor market and learning how to enhance their expertise and adaptability for future employment.
Students confidently interviewed with international companies in search of job opportunities
Applying for a Customer Service position at Transcosmos Vietnam, Ky Cam Binh, a third-year English Language major at the Institute of International Education, enthusiastically shared: “Before the interview, I made sure to present myself professionally, with a complete portfolio and solid subject knowledge. I also participated in CV writing and interview workshops, which really boosted my confidence. I had my interview entirely in English, and I believe that will be a big plus for me.”

Alongside juniors and seniors, first- and second-year students also took part in the fair. The presence of major corporations from around the world painted a vibrant picture of the global labor market, helping students explore a variety of career paths, understand international recruitment standards, and start planning a clear development roadmap to become high-quality professionals ready for the global economy.

Participating as a recruiter at the fair, Ms. Nguyen Quynh Trang, Deputy Head of Unit at Transcosmos Vietnam, had high praise for the students: “I’m impressed and confident in HUTECH students’ potential. They’re very self-assured and well-prepared when approaching companies. Especially their foreign language proficiency—many of them have strong language skills, which is a big advantage in multilingual working environments like ours at Transcosmos.”
HUTECH signs cooperation agreements to create more career opportunities for students
To continue expanding its network of corporate partnerships and provide more internship and job opportunities for students, the university also signed cooperation agreements during the fair. The new partnerships, themed “Training Human Resources in Line with Business Needs,” were signed with three organizations: Transcosmos Vietnam, Woori Bank Vietnam, and the Japan Asia Medical Welfare Education Institute (JAMWEI).
