With an educational orientation closely linked to businesses, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) is asserting its position as one of the pioneering universities in career preparation for students. This is clearly evidenced by the 5-Star rating for Employability awarded by the prestigious international university ranking organization QS (Quacquarelli Symonds, UK).
A comprehensive employment support ecosystem with strong enterprise connections
At HUTECH, efforts to enhance students' competitiveness and global readiness are implemented through a wide range of practical activities, most notably a series of large-scale, multi-sector job fairs held throughout the academic year. Korea Job Fair 2024 (April 11, 2024), featuring 31 international companies, mostly from South Korea, allowing students to experience an international work environment right in Vietnam.

HUTECH International Job Fair (May 24, 2024), with 32 international companies, reinforcing the university’s globally connected training orientation.

Japan Job Fair 2024 (July 26, 2024), with 38 participating companies, mostly Japanese, expanding job opportunities in Japan for students.

HUTECH Techshow 2024 (August 17, 2024), where students in Engineering – Technology meet 68 companies, present graduation projects, and connect directly with market hiring demands.

HUTECH Alumni Job Fair 2025 (March 20, 2025), a career fair dedicated to alumni, featuring an impressive 145 companies, demonstrating the university's strong, ongoing connections with its student generations.
Students participate in mock interviews to gain experience
In addition, HUTECH has implemented a range of other career support activities such as: personalized career counseling; CV writing and interview skills workshops; company visits, pre-internship and internship programs; and talk shows with entrepreneurs, experts, and successful alumni sharing valuable experiences to help students build confidence and enrich their professional toolkit for entering the workforce.
