According to Mr. Aoyagi, there are currently about 630,000 Vietnamese workers in Japan, but only about 25,000 are considered highly skilled personnel. Given this reality, he hopes HUTECH will have more opportunities to strengthen connections with Japanese universities, research institutes, and enterprises, implementing training programs, academic exchanges, and internships to help students improve their expertise, skills, and global integration capabilities.

Regarding future directions, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Director of VJIT, noted that cooperation with Japanese educational institutions and enterprises would not only give young people access to high-quality education but also open up many career opportunities in the international market. He also expressed his desire to make Japanese a popular subject starting from the high school level to nurture a love for the language while developing a workforce that understands the culture and can meet the demands of working in Japanese enterprises.
In addition to academic aspects, he particularly emphasized the importance of Vietnam - Japan cultural exchange activities. According to him, enabling students to participate in traditional festivals of both countries not only provides lively real-world experiences but also helps them broaden their socio-cultural knowledge, develop soft skills, and enhance adaptability in a global environment.
