On August 27, the Vietnam–Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT) of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) welcomed and worked with the Human Resource Development & Employment Organization (HuReDee, Japan). The meeting aimed to expand international cooperation, create more diverse learning environments, and increase career opportunities for students.
Leading the Japanese delegation were Mr. Fujishima Yasuyuki - Chairman of HuReDee, Mr. Yamaguchi Kimio - Vice Chairman, Mr. Namiki Yukihisa - Advisor, and Mr. Umeda Takeshi - Senior Director of Sojitz Corporation.

Representing HUTECH were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam - Vice Chairman of the University Board of Directors, Prof. Dr. Le Van Canh - Vice President, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung, - Director of VJIT, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam - Vice Director of the Japanese Language Center.

During the discussion, Mr. Fujishima Yasuyuki expressed gratitude to HUTECH for the warm welcome and shared his desire to foster more comprehensive cooperation in the future. He emphasized that strengthening connections with universities in Japan would open up opportunities to develop new fields of study, meeting the demand for high-quality human resources for international enterprises. This also presents HUTECH students with chances to improve professional skills, broaden experiences, and prove their capabilities in a global environment.

On HUTECH’s side, the University expressed its commitment to further enhancing student support policies for study and internships in Japan, while affirming its expectation to elevate cooperation with HuReDee in particular and Japanese partners in general to new heights. This will be a strong motivation for the University to establish more meaningful joint initiatives, bringing practical benefits to students.
The meeting outlined future directions for cooperation between the two sides
This session shaped the next steps of cooperation between the two parties, focusing on developing a modern learning environment and creating international internship opportunities for students in the future. The points discussed will continue to be studied and developed into concrete collaborative programs, with the expectation of expanding opportunities for HUTECH students and further strengthening educational ties between Vietnam and Japan.
