With the goal of advancing high-quality education, scientific research, and expanding international learning opportunities for students, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a meeting with Adelaide University (Australia) on September 22.

At the meeting, Dr. Ly Thien Trang, together with Dr. Lidwien Verdegaal, Associate Head of Internationalisation, School of Animal and Veterinary Science, Adelaide University, and Ms. Elizabeth Chang, Faculty International Advisor, engaged in in-depth discussions on potential areas of cooperation. The focus included scientific research collaboration, academic exchange, joint educational initiatives, and particularly the development of professional activities in Veterinary Science and Engineering.

They expressed their impression of the laboratories and practice areas of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Institute of Engineering, where students are exposed to a hands-on learning and research environment. This is considered an important foundation for the two universities to develop concrete cooperation initiatives, ensuring training quality and expanding international learning opportunities for future generations.

Adelaide University is a new Australian university, officially established in 2026 following the merger of the University of South Australia and the University of Adelaide. With over 180 years of combined experience, it has become the largest campus network in South Australia, offering more than 400 study options to approximately 70,000 students, nearly 30% of whom are international.
