On October 25, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) and Central Queensland University (CQU, Australia) officially signed an Articulation Agreement between the two institutions, marking a new milestone in HUTECH’s international education collaboration with one of Australia’s leading universities.

The articulation agreement is an important milestone in developing the 3+1 joint programs between HUTECH and CQU for two majors: the Bachelor of Public Relations and the Bachelor of Information Technology. The signed document formally recognizes transferable credits at CQU and specifies the courses HUTECH students must complete during their final year at the Australian university.

The agreement not only reinforces mutual recognition of academic quality between the two institutions but also broadens international learning opportunities for HUTECH students. It allows young learners to access Australia’s modern, practice-oriented academic environment. This milestone also reaffirms HUTECH’s commitment to the internationalization of education and its strategy to enhance global graduate standards in the new development phase.

In addition to the signing, both parties discussed full PhD scholarship opportunities at CQU for HUTECH’s academic and administrative staff. This initiative enables the university’s personnel to experience advanced research environments, strengthen academic capacity, and expand international scientific collaboration under the guidance of leading professors at CQU.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam - Vice Chairman of the University Board of Directors - emphasized: “HUTECH is committed to expanding its international cooperation network to create more opportunities for students and faculty to study, conduct research, and engage in academic exchange globally. This agreement with CQU reaffirms our commitment to international integration and paves the way for further development for both HUTECH and its learners.”
