HUTECH students crowned Champion of ‘Vietnamese Debating” Contest among Emulation Grouping 21 year 2023-2024

On July 2nd, students from the Faculty of Social Sciences & Public Relations - Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology’s (HUTECH) won first place in the "Vietnamese Debating Contest” among the Emulation Grouping 21 year 2023-2024 with the topic "Vietnam in my heart".
The contest aimed at helping students develop critical thinking and Vietnamese proficiency, resulting in performances inspired by the spirit of freedom, proudly affirming the role of Vietnamese in everyone's heart. Furthermore, the contest provided a playground for students to exchange ideas, gain experience, and develop networking with universities in Emulation Grouping 21.

The ultimate results called HUTECH first place in the contest, becoming the Champion of the "Vietnamese Debating Contest” among the Emulation Grouping 21 year 2023-2024.

The students and their performances, which expressed patriotism and Vietnamese culture
Taking place at Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology (HUFLIT), the contest involved four universities of Emulation Grouping 21: HUTECH, HUFLIT, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine - Ho Chi Minh City, and Hoa Sen University.
Teams competed in two rounds of the contest. In the first round, teams were drawn in advance and competed in the following sessions: introduction, presentation, and talent competition. In this round, the HUTECH team with the theme "Cultural exchange and international integration" impressed the Board of Judges with a profound and logically convincing presentation.

In the second round - debating, the HUTECH team competed against the Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine team. The HUTECH team advocated the theme "Environmental protection should be given priority over economic development in Vietnam".
