[Video] HUTECH and UNIMAS (Malaysia) students participate in cultural exchange

On August 5th, the Institute of International Education of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized a series of events titled "UNIMAS Study Tour 2024" to welcome students of University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) to exchange and study at HUTECH.

Accompanying the students were:
- Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien - Vice President
- Prof. Dr. Le Van Canh - Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of Directors
- Dr. Nguyen Chi Thang - Vice Director other leaders of the Institute of International Education
UNIMAS representative was Mr. Boniface Anak Banta - Assistant Registrar, Strategic & Global Partnership UNIMAS Global.

At the opening session, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien and Mr. Boniface Anak Banta expressed their delight when students of both universities were able to exchange with each other. This would be a special milestone for HUTECH and UNIMAS students while expanding the orientation of bilateral international integration training.

The program started with culture and art connection activities. UNIMAS students also studied about Vietnam through the "Culture, history & relation to doing business in Vietnam" workshop under the guidance of Ms. Nguyen Vu Thanh Phuong - Lecturer of the Institute of International Education.

In the afternoon, UNIMAS students had a Vietnamese cooking workshop and made traditional Vietnamese cuisines under the guidance of Master chef Le Nguyen Hoan Long.

The event brought many meaningful memories for students of both universitites

Through exchange activities, HUTECH and UNIMAS students had various meaningful experiences with international friends. Exchange sessions help HUTECH students enhance their foreign language proficiency, knowledge, and integration skills.
