On September 6th, the Faculty of Japan Studies - Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held the Opening Ceremony of the International Scientific Research Cooperation Program with the delegation from Hosei University (Japan).
The ceremony provided various valuable information to the students of the two institutions
Representatives of HUTECH attended the program were Prof. Dr. Le Van Canh - Vice President, Ms. Ho Ho Lien - Dean of the Faculty of Japanese Studies, and Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong - Vice Director of the Institute of International Education. Hosei was attended by Prof. Jun Misono - Lecturer in charge of the delegation.

Speaking at the opening of the program, Prof. Dr. Le Van Canh expressed his joy: “We hope that the scientific research collaboration between the two universities will continue to expand in both academic and other areas. I wish the Japanese students a wonderful experience of Vietnam’s country and people.”

Joining the lively atmosphere of the meeting, students from both universities engaged in a friendly manner and exchanged meaningful souvenirs. In addition, the students and faculty reviewed the schedule and planned activities for the upcoming days.

Over the 10 days from September 6 to September 15, the program will feature a series of exciting activities including: experiencing rural Vietnamese culture, learning Vietnamese, engaging in Vietnam-Japan cultural exchange, conducting scientific research, participating in a lantern-making competition, attending the Hokusai - Ikebana art exhibition, and more. These activities are designed to provide opportunities for students from both sides to interact, learn, enhance their understanding of each other’s cultures, and develop international integration skills.

It is believed that the program will provide HUTECH and Hosei students with valuable knowledge about learning and multicultural experiences. This is an opportunity for them to improve their language skills and develop abilities needed for integration into the international job market.
