The topics covered a wide range of areas in English language teaching, including learners' perceptions of using Duolingo for vocabulary acquisition; challenges faced by English-major students in learning writing skills at college level; the use of pictures in teaching vocabulary to young learners in primary schools; and students’ awareness and application of transition words in English essays at high schools. These research efforts addressed real-world issues in English teaching and learning, offering valuable insights and practical solutions to enhance language education.
Throughout the defense, committee members actively provided comments and guidance for improving each thesis. Their critical questions helped clarify ambiguous points and guided the students to recognize both the strengths and limitations of their work. The detailed feedback from faculty became an important source of motivation, encouraging students to refine their research and maximize its practical impact.
