Fresh perspectives on entrepreneurship, educational diplomacy, sustainable health, and community education were vividly shared with students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) through a series of interactive workshops with a delegation of speakers from AAUCO Global University Incubator and St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC, Philippines).
From November 17 to 22, the Department of International Relations and Project Management, in coordination with faculties and institutes, organized the workshop series for students from the Faculty of English Language, the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Laboratory Science, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Public Relations, and the Vietnam-Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT).
The program was led by international speakers including Ms. Jennifer Montero, Founder and CEO of AAUCO; Mr. Robin Serrano, Director of Strategic Operations and Innovation; Ms. Jyoti Zongluju, Director for Global Expansion and Institutional Diplomacy; Dr. Bing Pacheco, AAUCO Member; Fr. Merwin Kangleon, School Director of STAC; and Mr. Albert P. Flores, Director of the International Affairs Office at STAC.

The workshops focused on helping young people discover themselves within the innovation ecosystem. Through hands on guidance, students were encouraged to identify their individual roles within startup teams while developing leadership skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities. The creative language #NOI was also introduced as a tool to help learners find their own voice and connect personal identity with the context of regional cooperation within ASEAN.

Beyond entrepreneurship, the program expanded discussions on the role of women in international diplomacy and how educational diplomacy can create learning opportunities for communities. Stories of women leading global initiatives offered students a humane, progressive, and inspiring perspective.
The lectures provided students with valuable knowledge and engaging learning experiences
Within the theme of health and sustainable development, students participated in lifestyle assessments, interactive games on global health, and the development of personal and community-oriented plans aligned with sustainability goals.
Students in health-related disciplines gained both theoretical knowledge and practical experience
One of the most emotionally resonant highlights was the sharing session by STAC representatives about the resilient journey of a small school in Southern Leyte. Experiences related to education aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and a strong spirit of community service left a lasting impression, helping students better understand the transformative role of education in driving meaningful change.
