Students of HUTECH Faculty of Pharmacy participate in career talk with HR experts from Merap Trading

On this morning of April 16, the Faculty of Pharmacy of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized the workshop titled “Connecting students and companies - Merap Career” at 475A Dien Bien Phu main campus.
Attending the workshop were Ms. Pham Thanh Lan - Senior HR Manager of Merap Trading Co., Ltd. and Dr. Pham Ngoc Tuan Anh - Vice Dean of HUTECH Faculty of Pharmacy, along with lecturers, staff and heads of different university offices and departments.

At the workshop, Ms. Pham Thanh Lan introduced HUTECH students to an overview of the company’s signature products as well as the working culture of Merap Trading Co., Ltd. Besides the general introduction, Ms. Thanh Lan also shared with pharmacy students the recruitment principles of the company helping them to gain a better understanding of the recruiting procedures of pharmaceutical companies.

In addition, HUTECH students were also introduced to the available positions, job opportunities, as well as salary levels at Merap, thereby accumulating helpful tips for students on their job search.

Within the framework of the program, Dr. Pham Ngoc Tuan Anh and Ms. Pham Thanh Lan exchanged cooperation agreements between HUTACH and Merap Trading Co., Ltd., opening up many internships, field trips and recruitment opportunities for future pharmacy students.

All of the tips and accumulative experiences from the workshop would help the future HUTECH pharmacy graduates to gain a better understanding of the recruitment and internship process at pharmaceutical companies, hence, orienting their future and getting ready to join the labor market in the industry 4.0 era.
